How to delete Folder and files by CMD(command prompt)?

  • For Delete folder below command used

  • First of all Go to Drive for example D: then type RD command for any folder Delete.
  • Here i want to Delete New Folder which in D Drive so first Type D:>RD then for folder path or press TAB button on keyboard and go to that folder and Then press Enter Button.

  • D:\>RD "New Folder" then press Enter button then Check  its delete the Folder successfully.
  • Now as per above command you can use Del command for any File Delete.


 
  • D:\>Del "any.docx and then press enter and Check that File its Successfully Deleted.
  • For your Kind information this Commands are Called DOS Command which are used in our old Operating Systems.
